The Long Beach Parks, Recreation and Marine Administration operates three swimming pools that offer various aquatics classes and open swim sessions. During the summer, local high school pools are added to meet demand.

Belmont Plaza Pool is a beautiful Olympic-size indoor pool located on the beach near Belmont Shore offering a variety of swim classes, water exercise, lifeguard training and a weight room.
