What We're About

The Office of University Outreach and School Relations (UOSR) is the primary student recruitment and guest relations office for California State University, Long Beach (CSULB). UOSR provides outreach awareness, academic enrichment and counseling services for high-school and community college students.

In addition to hosting special campus events and programs, UOSR produces a variety of marketing and recruitment publications as well as multimedia tools. UOSR represents CSULB in the community, increases educational access, conducts recruitment activities for the campus and assists students in making a successful transition to our university.

Outstanding applicants must have strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills. Applicants should also have experience working with diverse populations and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as the desire to work collaboratively.
