Administrative Assistant
Description of Duties
This position involves the administrative support for the Campus Tours and Publications Component. Duties include general office tasks, data entry, assistance with scheduling tours, follow up with phone calls, etc. Training will be provided.
Position Requirements
- Enrolled student of CSULB (at least 6 units)
- Good academic standing with a cumulative GPA of 2.7 or higher
Position Qualifications
- Attention to detail
- Very organized
- Ability to learn quickly and efficiently
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, follow through and work independently
- Ability to follow directions and show initiative
- Good communication, telephone and interpersonal skills are a must
- Able to handle confidential information
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with IBM operating systems
- Knowledge of Adobe applications preferred
Hours & Availability
Morning hours preferred. Approximately 15 hours per week depending on availability.
Salary
$8.50
