Graduate Admission Information

Graduate students have a unique learning experience at CSULB; their progress toward educational goals is directed and evaluated by a graduate advisor and committee. These individuals provide guidance and support of the scholarly and artistic activities of all graduate students.
 

International Student Information

California State University, Long Beach enrolls approximately 1,200 students from 90 foreign countries each academic year. In addition, some 300 CSULB students take advantage of both short-term and yearlong study abroad opportunities around the world.

Counselor Information

We provide many opportunities for middle-school, high-school and community-college counselors to stay connected to The Beach. Our enrollment update newsletter, The Counselor Connection, provides information on how to assist students when making the transition to CSULB. We also host an annual counselors’ conference each October to ensure that counselors are informed about everything The Beach has to offer.

Campus Tours

We know that when choosing a university it is essential to become familiar with the campus in order to make informed decisions. We invite prospective students and their families to visit CSULB and take advantage of a campus tour. We offer three types of tours: family/individual, group and self-guided.


Co-Curricular Activities

California State University, Long Beach offers students the opportunity to join over 300 diverse clubs and organizations; from intercollegiate, club and recreational sports, to cultural clubs and scholar-based organizations, students can get involved and enhance their total college experience. Although CSULB has the largest student population of any CSU, we work hard with the facilities, programs and staffing departments to create an intimate living and learning environment that students can call home.
